Solstice Displays a Black Screen When Desktop Sharing Activated

Issue

When using Solstice for Windows, the app successfully connects, but when Share Desktop is clicked, a black screen is shown rather than the expected mirror image of the computer's desktop.

Cause

This issue has been traced in several instances to outdated display drivers.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install an updated display driver from either Windows Update or your laptop manufacturer's support site.
