Recover Deleted Items in Outlook


Deleted mail can be recovered up to fourteen days after being emptied from the Deleted Items folder.

  1. In the Deleted Items folder, on the Folder tab, in the Clean Up group, click Recover Deleted Items.
  2. Click an item, and then click the Recover Selected Items button.
  3. To select multiple items, press Ctrl on your keyboard as you click each item, and then click Recover Selected Items.
  4. Recovered items are restored to the folder from which they were deleted.
