Configuring Speed Dials on Cisco IP Phones

To configure speed dials:

1. Login to the Communications Manager User Options at https://voicecmp01.xavier.local/ucmuser/main.
2. From the left hand pane, select your phone.  It is the device with a 7945/7965 phone icon that begins with SEPxxxxxxxxxxxx.
   
   
    
3. Select Phone Settings from the top center menu.
   
   
    
4. Under Speed Dials for This Phone, populate Number and Label. The number should be entered exactly as you would dial it from your phone. If it is an off-campus number, remember to include a 9 or 9+area code, if necessary.
   
   
    
5. Press Save when finished.

To use your speed dials:

With the phone on-hook, press the programmed speed dial number. You will see AbbrDial appear on the 3rd softbutton. Press that button and the call will be placed.
