Changing Your Voicemail Greeting

To change your greeting, follow these steps:

1. Dial 4321 or press the Messages button on your Cisco office phone. If you are off-campus, dial (513)-745-4321 instead.
2. Enter your voicemail PIN followed by #. If you are off-campus, press *, enter your 4-digit phone number, and then the PIN when prompted.
3. Press 4 to enter the setup options:
   • Press 1 to change your Main Greeting.
   • Press 2 to Change your Alternate Greeting (used for special messages.  This allows you to switch back to your standard greeting without having to re-record it)
   1. 1. Press 1 to Set an End Date and Time (after the end date, your voicemail will automatically switch back to using the standard greeting), or
      2. Press # to leave the Alternate Greeting on indefinitely (you will need to manually switch back to the standard greeting, or re-record another alternate greeting later)
4. Press * to exit (you may have to enter * more than once), or you can hang-up the phone.
