Clearing Web Browser Cache and Cookies

Google Chrome/Microsoft Edge

To quickly clear cache and cookies:

  1. On your keyboard, hold down CTRL SHIFT DELETE keys. (If using a Mac, hold down COMMAND SHIFT DELETE). 
  2. Under the Time Range menu, choose All Time.
  3. Check the Cached Images and Files box.
  4. Check the Cookies & Other Site Data box.
  5. Click the Clear Now button.

Mozilla Firefox

To quickly clear cache and cookies:

  1. On your keyboard, hold down CTRL SHIFT DELETE keys. (If using a Mac, hold down COMMAND SHIFT DELETE). 
  2. Under the Time range to clear menu, choose Everything.
  3. Check the Cache box.
  4. Check the Cookies box.
  5. Click the Clear Now button.

Safari

To clear website history and misc. data:

  1. Click the Safari menu, and choose Clear History
  2. Choose all history from the pulldown menu.
  3. Click the Clear History button.

To clear cache:

  1. Click the Safari menu and choose Preferences.
  2. Click Advanced and check Show Develop menu in menu bar. Close the preferences window.
  3. Go to Develop menu and choose Empty Caches
  4. Quit and relaunch Safari.
