Permission Checking in SharePoint/NeXus

To check on site permissions, or to update them (if you are a site owner): 

  1. Click the cog in the top right hand corner, and choose Site Settings.


     
  2. On the Site Settings screen, choose Site Permissions.
     
  3. On the permissions screen, either click on a group to add or remove people from the group, or click on the Check Permissions button to enter a user and see what permissions they currently have:


     
If you don't have a Site Settings option, the site is locked down and you will need to contact a Site Owner or Admin.
