Obtaining Microsoft Office from Office365

Current students and employees can install up to (5) licensed copies of Microsoft Office on their computers and devices by following these steps:

  1. Login to your Xavier email account at https://mail.xavier.edu.
  2. Click on the square in the upper left corner.


     
  3. Click the Office 365 link.


     
  4. Click on the button in the top right that says Install Office. Choose Other Install Options from the drop down menu:


     
  5. Click on Install Office:


     
  6. Once the download is completed, run the installer.
  7. At the end of the installation process, you will need to sign in with your Xavier email address and password to validate the Office license. If this is not done immediately, you will be prompted to sign in after launching one of the newly-installed Microsoft Office apps.
