A/V Cable Connections

Current Xavier classroom builds follow the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) concept instituted by the Alter Hall redesign of 2015. Those with USB-C enabled devices should also connect using Solstice, Zoom, or a purchased USB-C to HDMI adapter where applicable.
The Circulation Desk has a limited amount of USB-C to HDMI adapaters available for checkout.  Call them at 513-745-3881 to confirm availability.


If using a room that does not include Solstice wireless display or a Zoom kit, it is important to be able to identify which AV cable is appropriate for your device. 
Consult the following examples to determine which cable(s) will work with your laptop.

 

 

Apple products sometimes utilize USB-C or Thunderbolt ports for carrying video signal.

This may be resolved with USB-C to HDMI adapter.
