Setting up Outlook on an Android Device

To setup Outlook for Android, follow these steps:
Download
Microsoft Outlook Mobile on your Android device.
Tap on Outlook to run it.
Enter your Xavier email address, and tap
Continue
.
If prompted to choose an account type, tap on
Office 365
.
You will be redirected to a Xavier login page.
Enter your Xavier credentials in the spaces provided. Click
Sign In
.
If you previously set up Android Mail to check your Xavier account, you should turn off syncing:
In your phone's

Accounts & Sync
(Or
Accounts
)
Select the
mail app
you previously used
Tap
Settings
Select the
Email Address
Tap
Settings
(Or
Email Sync
)
Tap
Set Sync Schedule
(Or
Check Frequency
)
Select
‘Manually’
(Or
Never
) from the options
Android phones can vary in how they present settings/options. If those shown in step 6 do not match your phone, please consult your mobile provider's or phone manufacturer's support for further assistance.
