Within SharePoint forms, names can be entered in two ways:
- Last Name, First Name (Example: Potter, Sara)
- Xavier username (Example: potters2)
If you need to search for the name, you can use the People Picker icon:
This will open the People Picker, where you can enter a name (or part of a name) and hit Enter to have it search for the correct person:
