Changing Your Voicemail Greeting

To change your greeting, follow these steps:
Dial 4321 or press the
Messages
button on your Cisco office phone.
If you are off-campus, dial (513)-745-4321 instead.
Enter your voicemail PIN followed by #.
If you are off-campus, press *, enter your 4-digit phone number, and then the PIN when prompted.

to enter the setup options:

1
to change your Main Greeting.
Press
2
to Change your Alternate Greeting (used for special messages. This allows you to switch back to your standard greeting without having to re-record it)
Press
1
to Set an End Date and Time (after the end date, your voicemail will automatically switch back to using the standard greeting), or
Press
#
to leave the Alternate Greeting on indefinitely (you will need to manually switch back to the standard greeting, or re-record another alternate greeting later)
Press
*
to exit (you may have to enter
*
more than once), or you can hang-up the phone.
To turn off your alternate greeting, you follow a similar process:
Press
4
for setup options.
Press
1
to change your greeting.
Press
2
to Turn off your Alternate Greeting.
Your change will be saved and you can hang-up the phone.
