Error "could not identify oauth state parameter" when connecting Zoom to Canvas

Issue

When trying to authorize Zoom via Canvas, the following error appears:

"Sorry.........could not identify oauth state parameter (4700)"

Cause

This error occurs when the user has not signed into Xavier account at least once already, thus Canvas cannot find a corresponding Zoom account on its end.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, log in to Xavier account:

1. Log in to Zoom at https://xavier.zoom.us using your Xavier credentials.
2. Your Zoom account will be created upon successful login.

If the error persists after the above steps, please try using a different browser. Firefox seems less prone to caching the error message.
